- Pay rate: $33.20 - $48.99 p/h (RN Level 1 -2, depending on experience)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Child Health Nurse to join our Early Intervention team in Kensington. Our working days are Monday to Friday each week.
This position is for from 4 shifts per fortnight at 10 hours per shift up (40 hours) to Full-time at 76 hours per fortnight - depending on the availability of the candidate. Our service has day, afternoon and night shifts available.
Shift penalties are applicable on afternoon (15% loading) and evening shifts (35% loading).

About the Role
As the Child Health Nurse you will work within a team and collaborate with families and other health professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes. You will provide clinical leadership in designated areas of portfolio and act as a mentor and support colleagues in the care of families.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively to establish and maintain professional relationships within the interdisciplinary team.
- Assess, Plan, Implement and evaluate client care which is congruent with primary health principles, Ngala philosophy and professional accountability.
- Document all client care within legal, ethical, organisation and professional boundaries.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA
- Qualifications in Child Health Nursing
- Effective communication skills both written and oral with a strong focus on listening, strength-based approach and skills in report writing
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills showing initiative, creativity and flexibility.
- Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation.
If successful, you will need to possess a satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within six months, current WA Working with Children's Check, WA drivers Licence and own registered vehicle.
