ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Claremont Centre team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. You will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. Work in partnership with our Early Childhood Teacher to support our children and foster their social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment. 

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm.

DUTIES

  • Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.

ABOUT YOU

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) 
  • Relevant experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
