ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Claremont Centre team. As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will work alongside a team of Early Childhood Educators to deliver child focused care to children 0-6 years of age and ensure Educators adhere to all policies and procedures and support their development by providing supervision, mentoring, and leading by example. In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate curriculums for individual children or groups of children in care. 

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or equivalent, and a current registration with the Teacher's Registration Board WA (TRBWA).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
  • Knowledge and application of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • A current First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self learning to achieve the best outcomes for children 
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills 
  • High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
