ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Team/Room Leader, you will work alongside a team of Early Childhood Educators to deliver child focused care to children 0-6 years of age and ensure Educators adhere to all policies and procedures and support their development by providing supervision, mentoring, and leading by example. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the Early Childhood Curriculum and plan and implement accordingly. 

Our Claremont Centre operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about children's learning and development and are a leader who can bring out the best in others. You will have:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
• A current First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for children 
• High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

If successful, you will need to possess a satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within six months and current WA Working with Children's Check.
