Ngala Early Learning Kensington is a dynamic and welcoming Centre, conveniently located just a short walk from a local café that offers our employees a discount on food and coffee. Our Centre is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can flourish through play-based learning and strong, supportive relationships.
 
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 6pm.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join us. In this ongoing full-time role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the early educational experiences of young learners, working closely with our Early Childhood Teacher to nurture children’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment.

Just as important, you’ll become part of a close-knit team who support each other, learn from each other and love coming to work. 

What You’ll Do

  • Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent) 
  • Relevant experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
