About the Centre

 Ngala Early Learning Claremont is a recently developed, spacious and growing child care Centre located a 5-minute walk from the Showgrounds Train Station. The Centre boasts large indoor and outdoor play areas, a dedicated art room, and great child to Educator ratios. As a team, our focus is on providing our children with a range of learning activities and ensuring their days are fun, stimulating and full of joy.  

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join us. In this ongoing Full-Time role, you will work closely with a dedicated team of Educators to provide top-quality care for children aged 0-6 years in a play-based environment.

Just as important, you’ll become part of a close-knit team who support each other, learn from each other and love coming to work. 

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed for a safe environment.
  • Guide and mentor Educators, leading by example.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate engaging curriculums for children in your care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or equivalent, and a current registration with the Teacher's Registration Board WA (TRBWA).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
  • Knowledge and application of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • A current First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self learning to achieve the best outcomes for children 
  • High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid WA Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months
