ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager ICT to lead the development, delivery, and support of Ngala’s ICT strategy, providing technical leadership and hands-on expertise to ensure the organisation’s technology systems meet its evolving needs.

 

DUTIES

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Developing and monitoring Ngala’s ICT strategy and ensuring its alignment with organisational goals.
  • Providing technical leadership, expertise, and hands-on support across ICT systems and infrastructure.
  • Managing M365 services, including Exchange Online, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Leading IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective budget management.
  • Administering and maintaining Ubiquiti/Unifi networking infrastructure for reliable connectivity.
  • Overseeing endpoint security, including patch management, and compliance.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify technology needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • Implementing cybersecurity measures and conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Providing leadership to the IT support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Managing vendor relationships and ensuring value for organisational technology investments.
  • Guide the organisational ICT related governance standards and practices with emerging trend such as Artificial Intelligence.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in ICT or equivalent experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing M365 environments, including Intune, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, Conditional Access policies and Teams
  • Strong knowledge of IT security and governance practices, including device compliance
  • Demonstrated experience with Ubiquiti/Unifi networking solutions, including setup and troubleshooting
  • Leadership experience in managing ICT teams and strategic projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Practical approach to managing ICT systems and infrastructure.
  • A current National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 6 months).
  • A valid WA driver’s licence and willingness to work across various sites as required
